It is common for people to move in and out of their home and when moving out it is a good idea to write a lease termination letter. This way you will make a good last impression. This letter should be short and concise and it is best to mention why you are moving out and when will you vacate your home. The letter should be something like:

Dear (name of receiver),

I am writing this letter to let you know that I will be ending my tenancy at the (address of the house or apartment) on (date) and I would like to terminate the lease on this property.

I would like to be present at the inspection of the property for damages and in case of any damage I would like it to be fairly assessed.

I will move out on the (date) upon vacating. Any future correspondence should be sent to the address (address) after vacating the property.

The reason for the lease termination is that I got a new job offer which I accepted in (city name) and this requires me to move houses to stay closer to my new workplace.

I would like to ask you to let me know about the date of the inspection and please let me know if there is something that I can help you with in the future.

Yours sincerely
