Dr. Margaret Mayer

Vice President

Charity Cross People Hospital

20 S Colvin,

Colorado City, AZ

Date: 10th February 2014

Subject: Resignation Letter from the position of Resident Doctor

Dear Dr. Mayer,

This is to bring to your notice that I would like to resign from my position of Head- Resident Doctor at the hospital, with effect from today, the 10th of February 2014. It has been a pleasure and learning experience working here, but my family will be relocating to Nashville, and as such, I have to move with them.

I have already found a job in “City Hospital” Nashville, as a Visiting Doctor, and would be grateful to you if you could write me a letter of recommendation and reference. I am very grateful to the staff and management of this hospital for providing me with adequate support and challenging opportunities to sharpen my skills and knowledge. My experience here has been rewarding, and for that I will forever be grateful to the team here. If there is ever an opportunity to serve the hospital, I would consider it my honour to be of service. As an additional request- as my resignation is not based on self progression but family consideration, I would request the management to consider rehiring me, if I return to Colorado City.

I understand that as per the policies of the hospital, I need to serve a months’ notice. As I have time for all necessary relocation plans to be made, I would be comfortable serving till the 9th of March 2014. Please let me know if the date is acceptable or if the hospital would prefer another convenient date.

Thanking all of you for all these years and with best wishes for the future!

Warm Regards

Dr. Natalia Burke

Head- Resident
