To Whom It May Concern,

Sub: Student recommendation letter

I am writing this letter to recommend my student-Sarah Jackson for the English Hons course at your college. I have known her as my student for 2 years and it was a great pleasure teaching her. I can assure you that she will prove to be an asset to your institution if given a chance.

Sarah has always been an ideal student. She is very obedient and has been consistent in her studies and scored very well in all her examinations. Not only has she been an outstanding speaker but has shown interest in various co-curricular activities as well She was always an active participant in various programs organized at our school. She has won certificates and medals in many events.

A good student is one who doesn’t only represent him/her at school level but that who actively takes part in various inter-school and inter-state competitions. Sarah has taken part in various state-level and national-level competitions and shown great performance in all.

Being her teacher and guide, I proudly recommend her as a perfect selection for you at your college.

Yours Sincerely,

Prof. Kevin Lewis
