Follow Up Letter after Interview

A follow up letter after interview is written by a candidate after an interview with a company to express his/her appreciation and thanks for the interview. These letters also gives an opportunity to the candidate to inquire about the interview results. A sample letter is given below.

I enjoyed our conversation and am quite excited at the possibility of working at your esteemed company.

After speaking with you and your HR team, I believe that I would be the perfect candidate for the position of senior research analyst offering experience in forecasting and tracking marketing and sales trends as well as extensive data analyzing skills. My thorough understanding of customer demographics, preferences, needs, and similar market related factors will enable me to perform my role as a research analyst efficiently. Also, I have adequate knowledge of marketing, advertising and research programs and strategies which coupled with my strong people skills will empower me to a lead a team of competent and well versed members.
