Subject: Complaint letter about food with hair in it

Respected Sir,

It takes me a lot of pain and embarrassment to write a complaint letter to Go Get Your Chicken Restaurant. But the matter is such that I cannot ignore it and I think that I would be doing one of my favourite restaurants in Kensington a favour by writing this complaint letter. Last Wednesday, that is, on the 6th of November 2013, I had taken a few of my friends to your restaurant for lunch. Since I have been a regular at your restaurant for the past 11 years, I took them there with a lot of hope and word-of-mouth goodwill.

We had ordered a Caesar Salad, and when I was about to dig into the lettuce, a strand of hair, entwined in the lettuce and the mayonnaise caught my eye. With a lot of shame (my friends being there with me), I called for the manager and asked for an explanation. Though he tried his best to suffice us with an answer and an apology and even offered a complimentary lunch, my friends and I had already lost our appetite. Hence, I am writing this letter to you asking for a probable cause of this unhealthy and unhygienic episode.

I do hope that you will be able to provide a satisfactory response.

Yours sincerely

Maggie Smith
