Subject: Response to complaint letter about food with hair in it

Respected Ma’am,

I would like to begin the letter by stating how ashamed and embarrassed we at Go Get Your Chicken Restaurant are following the unhealthy episode that happened with you and your party of friends on the 6th of November 2013. We at Go Get Your Chicken Restaurant always value customers like you who have stood the test of time and have supported us in all our endeavours.

While I cannot wipe away the memories of that fateful Wednesday afternoon when you had to bear witness to hair caught in your Caesar Salad but on behalf of our restaurant I can say that we are taking all the necessary steps to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and staff and make sure that this incident does not see a repetition. As a ground rule, the management has decided that from now on, all kitchen staff will have to sport short hair (crew cut) if possible. We are also taking efforts to locate the person who might have been responsible for that act.

Though we understand that we might not be able to regain your trust, we would still like to serve you and your friends a complimentary lunch at your convenience.
