Date: 25th April 2014

Subject:  Issues with reporting manager for leave approval.

Respected Poly,

Warm Greetings!

Hope this letter finds you in best of your health and spirits. Through this letter I would like to bring to your notice that my pre-approved long leave which was to happen after 8 months has suddenly been disapproved.

As you know, I have been a part of Unicom Tele Services for the last 2 years and have been rendering complaint free services to the organization without fail. This year on the occasion of my own marriage I requested my reporting manager to approve me a long leave (which was earlier approved in a face to face conversation) which has been denied. I see that others in my team take leaves every now and then for their own personal reasons but there is no issue in such circumstances. Now that I need to take a leave for a reason which is valid, my manager says that I can be given only 7 leaves at a stretch. I have ample of leave balance and I am actually in need of it at the moment. I have always been an employee who is very regular to work.

I request you to kindly take required actions on this and help me get an unbiased decision on the happy occasion of my marriage. Looking forward to seek help from you in this matter.

Thanking You,

Yours Sincerely,
