Dear Sir,

We are glad to inform you that you are being appointed as a director of our company with effect from the 10th of June 2013. The appointment will be initially for a period of five years which is subject to renewal on the expiry of the term according to the decision taken by the Board of Directors accordingly.

Your appointment is subject to termination by a unilateral decision of the Board of Directors when there is any violation of the rules and responsibilities of the role of a director or any other justifiable reason found by the Board. You will not be eligible to receive any accrued benefits in the event of termination of your services. You may wish to resign from the post of a director by giving a due notice of one month to the Board of Directors and after duly fulfilling all vital duties that have been assigned to you. You can claim the monetary benefits as promised to you in the appointment annexure provided along with this letter of appointment.

You are required to provide your acceptance of the position of director by sending back this letter signed by tomorrow evening effectively. You can feel free to discuss any of the employment clauses and remuneration with the Head of HR by arranging for a meeting by calling on the HR department contact numbers on 111-222-3333 between 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
