Subject: My Scholarship Appeal Letter

Dear Mr. Christopher,

I am writing this letter to you for making an appeal to pursue the scholarship exams which were going to be held in our college on 25th November, 2013. This appeal is in reference to the circular inviting application for scholarship display on the notice board of the college.

My identity card number is SM-34908.  I request you to please refer to my academic records this year. I had cleared Bachelors of commerce from your college with 95% marks and now I want to purse for Masters of commerce from the same college. My current score qualifies me for the direct benefit of 50% scholarship fees as mentioned in the circular. But I am looking for 100% scholarship assistance and therefore want you to recommend me to the scholarship panel.

At this point I would like you to notify that my family is not financially well so as to pay my fees for the Master’s degree. I hence request you to please financially assist me to complete my Master’s Program in this regard.  I assure you that I will work hard and prove myself worthy of the scholarship benefit provided by the college administration.

I have included the Xerox copies of my certificates and mark sheets that are enclosed along with this letter for your kind consideration as a proof of my qualification for the scholarship. I hope that with your kind help, I will be able to pursue my studies without any problems.

Yours Sincerely,

Romero Juan
