Subject: Appeal parking ticket with reference number 23456789 issued with penalty charge on November 3, 2015 for car vehicle with registration number WTK 345

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

I am writing this to inform you that I am appealing regarding the above subject mentioned in this letter. I got surprised and upset when i was given a penalty charge notice for the parking despite that I paid already and attached my parking ticket in my glass window. Before I park, I asked the person in charge that time if I could park my car on the specific area there then he told me that it’s alright so I paid before I left. After five hours, I came back then I was shocked to know that the area where I parked my car was a resident permit holder pay and that display ticket is not valid.

In my viewpoint, there was a confusion regarding the parking space area for there is no proper signage.

As a responsible citizen of my country who has always ensured that no traffic rules and regulations are violated, I feel that the parking ticket issued to me was a mistake. I would truly appreciate it if the ticket is repealed and the fine waived.

Thank you for understanding.

Sincerely yours,

John Harford
