Sub: Dismissal Appeal Letter

Dear Mr. George,

I am writing to you to appeal against my dismissal dated 1st December 2013. I have always served the organization with all my sincere efforts and dedication. Since the previous appraisal while I was commented on my performance, I have strived hard to give the best. In order to achieve the set goals, I had taken the ownership of the documentary work and reviewed the same submitted by peers. Also I have been involved in multi-tasking of the work assigned and provided deliverables in time. Cautiously, I have seen to it; that the escalations from the clients are minimized and no occasion rose for slippage. My support was extended to the fellow employees during my vacations and even on weekends during times of need.

My dismissal letter states that I have underperformed and therefore I am being dismissed from my services. But my past performance and incentives that I have received are indication of my good performance. I hold high regards for the team and project stakeholders as well but request the management to kindly review my dismissal letter once again before taking a decision. I would request for another chance to portrait myself as valuable for the project and subsequently the organization as well.

I sincerely appeal to take back my dismissal and allow me to pursue my career at the organization. I shall prove to be better than before and ever in achieving the organizational goals. Kindly consider my appeal and do the needful.
