Subject: Appeal Letter Regarding Exchange Program

Dearest Mom,

How are you? Hope you are doing fine. Mom, I am writing this letter to you to inform you about a new exchange program that has been started by our school recently. More than informing, I wish to appeal that you let me be a part of it and grant me written permission with your and dad’s signature. I assure you that I am really interested in being part of this program and will not let you down in anyway, if you give me the permission.

By the means of this exchange program, our school shall be sending out 5 students from the 9th grade to Canada for 1 week and 5 other students from Canada shall be living in our school hostel for that time period. The aim of this program is to give students a chance to experience life and studies in different countries and provide them with the exposure that will be required throughout life. The students shall be selected on first-come, first-serve basis and hence it is really important that I give my name as soon as possible. I am enclosing a document stating the other necessary details of this program so that you and dad can go through it and make a decision soon.

Hoping to get a positive response from you dear mom.

Give my love to dad,

Your Son,

Ronald Wesley
