Subject: Appealing for granting me admission to your college

Respected Principal Sir,

I, Bill Markson am writing this letter to you with the purpose of appealing for my admission into St. Xavier’s College, which has long been the most respected College in Liverpool University and has been my dream college since early childhood days. Sir, I possess all the qualifications and skills which are required to be part of this prestigious institution and wish to assure you that if an admission is granted, I would try my best not to let you and this college down in any way.

I am enclosing a copy of my high school certificates and other supporting documents. I am also enclosing a copy of my admission form to this college.  I would request you to please look into these documents and take a fair decision regarding my admission. I have applied for Mathematics Honors Course as I have always been very interested in this subject and would like to get into research work in the field of Mathematics in due course of my academical progress. Sir, I have passed out from St. Michael’s Senior Secondary school this year and have been a top scoring student throughout my school life. I have also participated in many co-curricular activities and done well at most of them.

I hope that you will consider my appeal and respond back soon.

Yours faithfully,

Bill Markson
