Leave Acceptance Letter

By | June 22, 2013

It is common for people to send a leave acceptance letter to their boss after they requested a leave and their request has been granted. This is a great way to show your appreciation and gratitude for your leave. It is important for the letter to be concise and short since you already applied for the leave. Make sure that the letter contains your appreciation and ensure your employer that you are planning on rejoining the company and that you are willing to sacrifice your free time to catch up with the work left undone.

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing this letter to express my deep appreciation for the concern that you have towards your employees and for their welfare. I wish to thank you for approving my leave that has been requested on (date of request). I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to visit my family in such difficult moments. This leave offers me the possibility to give my family all my support.

I would like to tell you that as soon as my mother gets better I am planning on returning to the company. I know that there will be a lot of work to be done, but I am willing to work extra time in order to handle all the work that is left for me to do.

Again, thank you for your kind concern.

Yours sincerely,
