Employment Acceptance Letter

Once a company accepts a candidate for a given job, he or she will receive a formal offer. Sometimes the candidates are asked to sign a letter of employment and simply send it back to the employing company. However, it is a good idea to send the company an employment acceptance letter for them to know that you have received their letter and you accept their offer. For this you will have to add:

Sample Employment Acceptance Letter:

Dear Sir/Madam

This letter confirms our conversation of (date of interview) when you offered to employ me as a (name of position). I am pleased to tell you that I accept your offer that comes with the following conditions: (conditions of the job)

The job responsibilities include (enumerate job responsibilities)

I can start working on (date) and I plan on contacting you in the following (time period) to confirm this date. As discussed in the previous conversation, I shall report to you directly as my supervisor.

As we discussed the beginning salary will be of (amount). Besides this compensation you also indicated that I will also receive a commission of (percentage) based on (basis of commissions). This shall be paid according to the commission policies of the company.

It has been brought to my attention that according to the company policy I will be reimbursed for the following out of pocket expenses (enumerate the expenses).

I would like to express my appreciation for your employment offer.
